Shaaba Enterprises Limited is a Ghanaian owned private company engaged in trading, building and road construction and the production of natural mineral water and fruit juice.

History

Begun in 1984 as a sole proprietorship and incorporated five years later, the company has survived and emerged from the highly competitive business environment to become one of the leading commercial concerns in Ghana with a workforce of over 223.

Trading was the first and still is the core business activity of the company, having shot it to its current fame. The company started in 1984 with a shop in Nkawkaw dealing mainly in chainsaw machines and accessories. It later expanded its operations to Accra and then on to other cities and towns. With the promulgation of legislation on chainsaw operations, the company diversified into household appliances and general goods both locally-made and imported.

The phenomenal growth within this short time has been by dint of commitment and hard work on the part of both management and workers.

Service to Society

Shaaba Enterprises Ltd. believes in the upliftment of society and therefore assists individuals and organisations to uplift themselves in society. We have awarded scholarships to deserving but needy children and have made donations in cash and in kind to the Ghana Society for the Blind, Prisons Service, Kwahu South District Assembly and the National Commission for Civic Education to mention a few.

Shaaba Head Office and Shopping Mall is situated on the Achimota - Lapaz motorway just half a one kilometre from the Achimota overpass.
