Welcome to Ainoo-Ansah Farms

AINOO-ANSAH FARMS is a Ghanaian owned enterprise which operates a fish hatchery. It is located at Okyereko near Winneba, Ghana. The farm produces and supplies tilapia fingerlings to fish farmers in six regions of the country. It has also exported tilapia fingerlings to Nigeria and South Africa successfully.

The farm employs tested hatchery technology and equipment from industry leaders and constantly innovates for higher operational efficiency.

The farm has collaboration with two Ghanaian Universities i.e. University of Cape Coast and the University of Energy and Natural Resources for internships, research and joint projects on fish farming. In collaboration with the University of Cape Coast, a manual on tilapia farming has been produced as a contribution to the fish farming industry. Training programmes for fish farmers commenced in February, 2016.

Training on tilapia farming at Ainoo-Ansah Farms in Ghana is a comprehensive package of theory and hands-on skill training which equips participants with basic knowledge and skills to undertake tilapia farming as a business.

Ainoo Ansah Farms has a collaborative arrangement with the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences of University of Cape Coast to support fish farming in Ghana.

We are happy to respond to the Government's call to increase and improve agricultural production. We wish to develop and model farming as a dignified, profitable and pleasurable undertaking for ourselves and for the nation. In these respects we will be interested in activities and collaborations that will provide extension services to farmers in fish farming, cropping and livestock production. We are open to collaborations for mutual benefits.
